Madaklasht is a remote mountain valley in Chitral, known for its clear climate and clean meltwater. The air is thin and bright, and the slopes rise steeply above the village houses.

Walnut trees grow naturally across these high slopes. At altitude the kernels develop a rich, full flavour, and each season the nuts are gathered, dried, and graded before they are packed.

Akhrot Mahal brings these mountain-grown walnuts to you directly, without unnecessary middlemen, so the origin you read about is the origin you receive.
